Just a short walk from Scalby village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, this wonderful former farmhouse sits on three acres, surrounded by quiet agricultural fields. 

Within walking distance, you will find restaurants, pubs, cafes, and tea rooms to wet your whistle and fill your belly. The cinder track that runs between Scarborough and Whitby is accessible via a footpath 300m from the house.

Holmefield provides quick access to Scarborough and Whitby, as it is located on a fast road (which does mean some road noise during busy times). 

There is a bus stop at the bottom of the drive, providing easy public transport to both.

With rural views of the moors, and glimpsing Scarborough Castle and the North Sea from the back fields on a clear day, Holmefield is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing break. 

The house runs entirely on renewable energy, with solar panels powering an Air Source Heat Pump.
